5 children, 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild

What do you and/or your spouse do for a living?
Registered Nurse, Nursing Professor, currently serving as Dean of the College of Nursing at BYU (retiring August 2020)

What brought you to the area?
Grew up in San Diego, CA…started college in 1971 and have lived here since except for a few years right after college.

I recommend everyone try ____________ at least once because:
Biking in Europe (bike-barge trips are relaxing and a great way to really see the country).

What activities inspire you or give you peace?
Reading, biking, people watching.

What advice would you give your younger self?
Enjoy the journey!

Do you feel like you’ve found your “purpose” in life? If so, what is it?
To be the best I can be and to live things better than how I found them. Serve others.

How would you like people to remember you?
I enjoyed life whether it is church, career, leisure, or family. My testimony and church were an integral part of my life. I enjoyed movies, plays, musical events, travel, and new adventures.
