I found the scripture while trying to decide whether I should keep pumping for my post-NICU baby. After 7 months of work, the odds of my baby eventually succeeding at breastfeeding looked very low. I needed reassurance, and when Isaiah compared Christ to a mother who comforts her babies (with breastfeeding and other means), these verses became exactly what I needed.
